The delivery of raw milk from the farm

Effective cleaning of milking equipment and cleanliness in the stable, the risk is reduced. But sterile conditions cannot be created. Is This Program a Kyle Leon Scam?

"Bacteria are killed by heating," stresses Juliane Bräunig from the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment in Berlin. Therefore, there is a statutory heat treatment requirement: milk which is delivered to the consumer must be pasteurized or heat-treated in a different form.

This is not true for raw milk from the farm and for certified milk. However, the producers of these two categories must meet special requirements.

The delivery of raw milk from the farm is notifiable. The producer must be visible in writing to point out that the milk is to boil before consumption.

Even more stringent are the requirements for certified milk, so raw milk, the filtered after milking, cooled and is then bottled. The producer's premises must be approved by the veterinary office and is checked regularly.

"In milk, which was not heat treated, but is consumed raw, germs can survive," warns by the expert Bräunig. Healthy adults can wear these germs except for diarrhea is usually little.

However, for high-risk groups can be dangerous raw milk: "These include children, the elderly and immuno-compromised people," Hammer summarizes. Introduction to Kyle Leon

Pregnant women are at risk. "The pathogens can gastrointestinal problems, vomiting, diarrhea with fever and circulatory disorders, cause diarrhea and kidney failure and bloody in severe cases," says Bräunig.
